With recent school shootings like the one in Uvalde, Texas still fresh in our minds, it’s hard to believe that it’s been more than 20 years since the shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado in 1999. Jim’s guest today is Kacey Johnson. Kacey is a survivor of the Columbine shooting and author of the book, Over My Shoulder. She wrote the book to “provide a message of hope to a world full of bad news”. Her story is a roller coaster of events and emotions that started before the tragic events at Columbine and continued long after. Kacey shares with Jim how for many years she shied away from telling her story but finally came to realize that God was working through her to help and inspire others.
