Jim Piper welcomes Beau and Johnny Sirpilla to the show to talk about adoption.  You might remember Johnny Sirpilla from Episode 30 of The Today Counts Show where he talked about his book “Life Is Hard But I’ll Be OK” and shares his family’s amazing journey.  Today, Johnny and his adopted son, Beau, share their personal stories of a family with an adopted child and biological children.  Beau talks very openly about what it was like growing up as an adopted child and how, as an adopted child, you sometimes feel like an “outsider” even in a loving family.  Johnny and Beau both talk about what a great gift Beau’s adoption was to Beau and the Sirpilla family.  To sum it up, this episode is an inspiring story of the power of adoption to change the lives of everyone involved for the better!
