Today’s The Today Counts Show episode will be a special treat for sports fans and athletes.  Jim’s guest is NCAA D1 men’s basketball referee James Ford, one of those guys in the striped shirts you see on TV while you’re watching your favorite college games.  How do you get that cool job?  Well, like most things in life, you get there through hard work, dedication to your craft, and commitment.  And… once you get there it’s a year-round effort to stay there!  Oh, and if you’re like most NCAA basketball referee like James Ford, you will be working a full-time day job as well.  James talks with Jim about the challenges of juggling his family life, traveling for his NCAA basketball referee work, his full-time day job, and of course, just how cool it is to be there in the middle of the game.
